Expectations in Drama

My favourite game last lesson was Traffic Lights because I found it really fun. Traffic Lights is a listening game. For example, when Mr Watson shouted Green we had to fast walk and when he shouted Amber we had to squat. When he shouted Red we had to stop. When Mr Watson said Amber I tried to squat and nearly fell over, luckily nobody realised. Also when he said Green, I got confused and started panicking so I ran into Molly. This showed me to concentrate when there is a game going on and to not panic when we play the game. I enjoyed this game more than Lifeboats because it is more active. After about 10 minutes of playing with just Green Amber and Red, Mr Watson added a few more colours including Pink, Black and Blue. It got really confusing. I was out on the first round because the first challenge was to sit with everyone in your tutor groups, we left 5 people out so everyone in Hunt was OUT. This taught me to never leave people out when they need to be there with you.

The game showed me to concentrate in lessons and do what I am told when I am told also it shows that you won’t always be the best at everything. The point of the game was to show us that we need to react fast to instructions and don’t misbehave or leave anyone out when doing anything during lessons. I think that studying drama will be fun because that is what I enjoy doing out of school. It might be hard studying drama because we might not understand some things in drama when we are taught them .
